Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

1. Who we are

ServeHub coordinates local service professionals for customers in California. When you submit a request you enter into an agreement with ServeHub for coordination, scheduling and payment handling, and with the assigned professional for the performance of the work itself.

2. Requests are offers, not confirmed bookings

Selecting a date, time slot and proposed fee creates an offer. It is not a confirmed appointment. A ServeHub administrator reviews every request and may accept it, decline it, or respond with a counteroffer. Work is scheduled only after management confirms the appointment and assigns a verified professional. You will see the confirmation status in your booking history.

3. Pricing and payment

You choose to pay a 25% deposit or the full amount at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; ServeHub never stores your card details. The remaining balance is due on completion unless we agree otherwise in writing. If the scope of work changes on site, no additional charge applies unless you approve it in advance.

4. Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds

Rescheduling is available at no charge; see the Payments, Cancellation & Rescheduling policy for full details, including your California three-day right to cancel qualifying contracts.

5. Professionals, licensing and insurance

Professionals are screened, and must provide proof of the license, bond and insurance their trade requires before being marked verified. ServeHub maintains commercial general liability coverage for the services it coordinates. Contractors performing work valued at $500 or more in labor and materials must hold a current CSLB license.

6. Your responsibilities

Provide accurate contact and address information, safe and lawful access to the work site, and disclose known hazards. Someone 18 or older must be present or reachable for the appointment.

7. Limitation of liability

ServeHub is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question, except where such a limitation is prohibited by California law. Nothing in these terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any right you cannot waive by law.

8. Complaints and disputes

Please file a complaint through our complaint form first — management personally reviews and responds to every submission. We will attempt to resolve disputes informally and in good faith. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any action will be brought in the courts of the county where the service was performed.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the effective date above will change and material updates will be posted on this page. Questions? Email vsanch704@gmail.com.
